) made by women who care. Our fabric is sourced locally and we empower women by
employing seamstresses and staff from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our business would not
be viable without the help of our 3 valuable team members.
Agnes Malepe

Aggi is a 47 year old single mother with 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren 1 granddaughter and 3 grandsons. Aggi stays in Diepsloot and was born and raised at North West Mafikeng rural area. She has no parents and stays with her grandchildren in a shack in Diepsloot. Aggi makes our bags to earn her living she sews and designs bags for a few clients like JST Bags. She dreams to grow big one day and employ others in her position
Lala
Quality control & ironing
Lala was born in Polokwane and currently living and working in Johannesburg. She is a single mom of two boys and has a granddaughter who all depend on her. Lala has an outgoing personality and is hardworking & trustworthy. She has been an invaluable member of JST Bags from the beginning and helps with quality control, ironing and packing orders.
Jen
Quality control & ironing
Jenny is a bubbly, hardworking, single Mom from a town in the Northern Cape called pampierstad. she has a 22 year old son who she has raised alone and still supports. Jen has been with the JST Bags team from the start and is involved in the quality control, ironing, and packaging of our products.
We believe in giving back to the environment and our community. That's why we are proud to support local environmental initiatives where possible through donations and sponsorships. We are always looking for ways to improve our products and reduce our impact on the environment. From sourcing reusable materials to reducing our carbon footprint, we are committed to constant improvement. Join us on our journey towards a more sustainable future.
